2011 Scheifele, Last Year Petan, This Year Connor...seems like the team keeps making the mistake of keeping players who aren't ready for the physicality of the NHL.
What I've seen so far is Connor not willing to take or give a hit to get the puck. Maybe time with the Moose to let him get used to it and prove he can do it there first would be smart. There have been a lot of instances of him peeling away from contact or getting rid of the puck quickly when contact is coming at him. I think it's a case of too much too soon. |

Lets call tonight what it really is, an opportunity for Chevy and Sweeney to discuss a Trouba swap in person.
"We can discuss whether it’s better to have Marko Dano up and Connor down soon but at this point the bigger question is when do the so-called vets and experienced players show up?"
2-3 years once Nolan Patrick arrives and Brian Little retires.

How has Laine looked? Should I add him to my hockey pool lineup this week?

He's been solid, had some good looks and seeing the game well. He's going to have to learn to react faster and deal with speed of pros. |

I never thought I'd say this... (Inhales deeply) we need Trouba back. Myers has been absolutely brutal. It's pretty telling that Morrissey has been our best dman. Buff has been terrible too, but he's a monster offensively, so he gets away with it. Everyone up the left side was good. Postma was our best righty. That's not good. |

There's a guy named Pavlec and most games he gives the team a chance to win...

Postma made a mistake everytime he was on the ice last night. He was by far our worst D, everything else you said I can agree with.

some thoughts,
-stop taking Armia out of the lineup for Thorburn
-put ehlers back on first line, laine is playing to slow for the other two
-call up any other center, ( petan, de leo, copp, dano ) to take Burmi's spot, just waive him and end this!
-dont be afraid to put stafford in the press box when he has as invisible of a game as he just did
-dont let postma touch the ice
-reel in buff a little, the river boat gambler can play a bit more D
-start considering sending down connor and if howden has been the best player on the moose, bring him up! reward whoever is playing the best on moose to send a point that there isnt some pre conceived list of who gets called up first |

I agree with Ross on most everything he just wrote.

what about the elephant in the room named lowery? He was terrible, again, last night, and IMO Burmi played better and did more than lowry. I do agree though that eventually it will be time to send down players not performing and bringing up whoever is playing the best at the moment. |

I'm getting that sinking feeling that this might be a long season
.
The young guns may need time to adjust to the big game - ok .... I get it ... but *&%* agreed - the vets need to step it up and they are looking sloppy ... at the very least not playing 60
.
Keep Armia and Morrissey in the line up ... cycle the there guys ... WAKE EVERYONE UP !! |

Jets fans hows it going?
Whats the deal with Trouba?
From what Ive seen of him, he looks pretty darn good with a lot upside.
Your thoughts?
What kind of trade are you hoping for or expecting? |

Very few Jets looked good last night.
I wish I could take a saw and cut all of Enstrom's sticks down to the correct size for his height. |

Referring more to his inability to shoot the puck with any velocity. |

A pass that would have went to no one was on the guy that it didn't deflect it in?

A pass that wouldn't have happened had Myers been in position. |

Anaheim may want to part with Despres instead of Fowler, is he not better than Stuart, Chairot and Postma? I am sincerely asking, havent seen him play a ton. I cant imagine he'd cost much. Maybe this is the way to go; make a lesser trade to bring a more solid 5-6 type D by parting with a Dano, De Leo type. then we can move Trouba for something like Domi and Chychrun? Yes, I believe Domi and Chychrun would be an overpayment for Trouba but I also believe it will take an overpayment for Chevy to trade him. I'd be happy to include Burmi in any deal. |

I was at the game last night. Myers looked great and man did Burmi deliver a nice pass to Wheeler.
I thoroughly enjoyed the game. The Jets are a growing team and will need some patience. The young guys are all still soft on the puck and are learning. Give this team some time before people begin to push the panic button.
I know we are not making the playoffs this year as this is set-up year for next.
Jets Nation, please calm down! |

Despres is righty, no? Anaheim is strong up the left side, and Fowler isn't all that great. I wouldn't send Dano for Fowler. |
